Meet the Founder of Hair by Vineeta
Vineeta is the visionary behind Hair by Vineeta, bringing over a decade of hands-on experience and generational expertise in the hair extension industry. Originally from Cochin, Kerala—widely known as God’s Own Country—she has spent the last five years building her career in Canada while maintaining deep roots in her family’s legacy in India.
Her academic background reflects a strong foundation in business and leadership. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Advertising from Curtin University of Technology (Singapore), a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Madras Christian College (India), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from Humber College (Canada).
Vineeta’s journey in the hair industry began early, inspired by her mother, Mallika Sreekumar, who founded Hair by Mallika in 2006. From a young age, Vineeta played a key role in the business, overseeing core aspects of hair processing and customization. Her dedication to quality, ethical sourcing, and personalized service helped lay the foundation for what would become her own brand.
Certified in various professional hair extension techniques such as Fusion, Tape-In, Micro Bead, Nano Bead, and Micro-Loop, Vineeta has trained in Kerala and Tamil Nadu in India, as well as at Jessica Hair in Toronto. She brings both technical expertise and artistic flair to her craft. Through Hair by Vineeta, she continues the family legacy with a modern, ethical, and customer-focused approach—offering premium, ethically sourced hair products to clients around the world.
